About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Triage and provide technical support for user requests, focusing on Emerson Syncade and DeltaV
  • Identify and resolve technical issues with users in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work independently and with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Document and record issues and escalations in ServiceNow
  • Follow escalation processes and interface with different tier teams
  • Provide proactive status updates
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of EMES infrastructure, Emerson Syncade Software, and DeltaV
  • Maintain standard processes for the application support team with team leads and the global manager
  • Provide technical guidance and support to new application support team engineers
  • Participate in training and development activities
  • Collect Voice-Of-Customer feedback and share it with internal teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BE/BTech/MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills
  • Ability to identify, resolve, and log technical issues
  • Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Strong problem-solving and facilitation skills, especially in ambiguous situations
