About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Business Unit Controller with monthly revenue recording for Unit, Fee for Service, and Fixed Price contracts
  • Load project budgets into Oracle/Revenue Wizard and maintain project setup data in Oracle and associated systems
  • Draft monthly actual-versus-budget/forecast variance analyses and reports
  • Draft monthly financial forecasts and backlog submissions
  • Prepare project close-out reconciliations
  • Review executed Work Orders and Change Orders for bonuses or anomalies
  • Capture, assess, and consolidate financial results with the Business Unit Controller
  • Draft annual cost and expense budgets, cost rates, forecasts, utilization, headcount, revenue backlog, and gross profit reports
  • Update predefined reports
  • Attend project meetings, project kick-off meetings, and monthly project review meetings
  • Monitor project revenues, gross profit, receivables, unbilled amounts, close-outs, and reconciliations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-year / Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of related experience
  • Pharmaceutical or CRO experience preferred
  • Strong English proficiency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with accounting software packages
  • Experience with Oracle Finance preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • Excellent financial, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of personal motivation to achieve
  • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential and sensitive data
  • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Ability to occasionally move inside the office and between office locations
  • Ability to maintain a stationary position for prolonged periods
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move 10–35-pound office items and packages
  • Ability to constantly operate a computer and office productivity equipment
  • Ability to perceive and assess written materials for prolonged periods
  • Ability to frequently communicate with colleagues by phone, email, and in person
