About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide advanced hands-on technical leadership for Salesforce platform delivery across Syneos Health’s Service Cloud, Health Cloud, REMS, Engagement Center, and related platform capabilities.
- Lead the design, development, configuration, testing, and support of Salesforce solutions that are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with Syneos enterprise architecture and regulated delivery standards.
- Serve as the day-to-day technical lead for Salesforce engineering work, partnering with architecture, business stakeholders, QA, validation, security, operations, and platform support teams.
- Help establish sustainable internal Salesforce engineering practices, including technical standards, code review expectations, production support procedures, documentation practices, and knowledge continuity across the Salesforce platform.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 5 or more years of Salesforce engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, SOQL, SOSL, custom metadata, permission sets, validation rules, and Salesforce platform configuration.
- Experience with Service Cloud and/or Health Cloud.
- Experience leading code reviews, technical design discussions, and production issue resolution.
- Experience working with Salesforce integrations using REST APIs, platform events, middleware, named credentials, connected apps, or equivalent integration patterns.
- Familiarity with enterprise SDLC, DevOps, source control, and release governance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with business, technology, platform support, vendor, and compliance stakeholders.
