About the role

  • Responsible for leading and coordinating Technology Disaster Recovery efforts globally
  • Work in conjunction with Application Delivery and Infrastructure Support teams, 3rd Party IT Service Providers and business counterparts to develop recovery strategies
  • Test recovery of IT assets
  • Manage risk and continuous improvement of Technology Disaster Recovery solutions
  • Support Business Continuity exercises
  • Build company awareness
  • Key contributor in the management of service provider outcomes

Requirements

  • BS in Information Systems or equivalent
  • 5+ years of equivalent experience
  • Information Technology and technology life-cycle management experience
  • Knowledge in IT Infrastructure support areas including but not limited to Storage, Database, Networks, Backups, Security and Operating Systems (WINTEL, Linux).
  • Subject matter expertise in Disaster Recovery best practices, methodologies, trends, tools, and issue identification
  • Capable of organizing, directing, and managing internal and external teams in establishing procedures and related activities that are significantly complex in scope
  • Detail oriented with the ability to own and prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous projects
  • Able to effectively collaborate and communicate across all levels of the organization, ability to influence Vendor Management skills and mindset
  • IT Disaster Recovery and/or Crisis Management experience preferred
  • Experience in recovery strategies for cloud (IaaS / PaaS) based as well as assessing SaaS applications.
