About the role
- Apply incoming payments to customer accounts promptly and accurately, ensuring all cash receipts are accounted for.
- Perform weekly reconciliations of bank statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Communicate with customers regarding payment application inquiries and resolve any issues that arise with the payments received.
- Generate regular reports detailing cash application activities and provide insights into cash flow trends.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in the cash applications process.
- Adhere to internal controls and compliance regulations related to cash applications and financial transactions.
Requirements
- Accounting knowledge: understanding of basic AR processes
- Software proficiency: Experience with ERP´s: Oracle, SAP, PS
- Data entry and reconciliation: Accuracy in entering data and reconciling accounts.
- Financial analysis: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends and generate reports
- Attention to detail: High level of accuracy in managing financial transactions and records
- Problem solving: Strong analytical skill to troubleshoot and resolve payment issues
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- English: B2 (PET) or equivalent.
