About the role

  • Responsible for the full range of HRIS project life cycle including discovery, design, development, testing and support
  • Functioning as the Subject Matter Expert for the Company’s HRIS and HRSD systems
  • Provides global support for all HRIS applications
  • Initiates, leads, and implements HRIS projects
  • Collaborates with other departments to proactively identify needs for enhancements/modifications
  • Supports modifications and serves as a change agent to assist in promoting new designs
  • Identifies areas for improvement in both the processes and systems
  • Develops, documents, and implements global procedures
  • Participates in the testing and implementation of all system upgrades
  • Trains practitioners, managers, and employees on HRIS functionality
  • Monitors interactions/interfaces with both internal and outsourced systems
  • Provides technical support for interface integrations between HRIS applications and various third-party applications
  • Raises Service Requests via vendor support organizations
  • Manages HR data requests; Assembles, analyzes, and formats data into usable reports
  • Develops data integrity protocols for all HRIS applications
  • Defines and enforces standard HRIS functionality to be delivered across the organization
  • Assists with other HR projects, both within HRIS and in the various HR functional areas
  • Serves as partner to all HR functional areas

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Human Resources, or Information Technology; Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources working with a HRIS, web-based applicant tracking system, enterprise report platforms, and/or equivalent related experience plus demonstrated leadership skills required
  • Detailed understanding of integration strategy; practice in the development and day-to-day support of vendor interfaces
  • Previous participation in a multi-site HRIS conversion/implementation; Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle - requirements gathering, designing, building, testing, training, go-live and postproduction support
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to independently learn new tasks quickly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products; including advanced data functions in Excel
