About the role
- Subject matter expert in assigned solutions
- Responds to customer support inquiries in a timely manner
- Develops increased knowledge based on previous inquiries and information
- Participates in new projects as required for clinical system or clinical reporting
- Run and disseminate routine reports
- Triages, reviews, and responds to requests for ad hoc metrics
- Finds opportunities to streamline operations through data flows or workflow tools
- Deliver prompt and efficient user support
- Development and delivery of training efforts for internal and external customers
- Responds to Service Desk tickets routed to the department
Requirements
- SQL proficiency (joins, window functions)
- Power BI Desktop expertise (DAX, data modeling, Power Query/M)
- Data modeling best practices (star schema, fact/dimension design, RLS)
- ETL/data preparation across multiple sources
- Strong requirements-gathering skills
- Troubleshoot and optimize DAX and semantic models
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Clear documentation (data dictionaries, logic definitions, usage notes)
- Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, SMEs, and business leaders
- Databricks experience (notebooks, Unity Catalog)
- Power Apps/Power Automate experience
- Copilot / AI-assisted analytics skills
