- Compile and edit medical writing deliverables
- Maintain familiarity with current industry practices and regulatory requirements
- Perform on-line clinical literature searches, as applicable
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical writing
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Prior experience in handling end to end project
- Ability to handle SOPs, draft process maps or flowcharts
- Mentors and leads less experienced medical writers on complex projects
- Acts as lead for assigned writing projects
- Manages medical writing activities associated with individual studies
- Compiles, writes, and edits medical writing deliverables
- Ability to create process maps from provided technical material
- Hands on experience of using MS Visio or similar tools
- Identifies and proposes solutions to resolve issues and questions during the writing process
- Reviews statistical analysis plans and table/figure/listing specifications
- Interacts with department head and staff members in data management, biostatistics, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs
- Serves as peer reviewer on internal review team
- Adheres to established regulatory standards and Company Standard Operating Procedures
