About the role
- Model validation and defect fixing for DTS system.
- Perform necessary technical corrective actions to restore failed or failing technical services on EMS system.
- Conduct code review, deployment, testing and monitoring of break/fix patches and modification.
Requirements
- Administer and optimize Energy Management System (EMS) system through application configuration, tuning and security patching preferably on GE PowerOn Reliance (XA21) and/or AEMS Platform Software, as well as EMS of any equivalent platforms from Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider etc.
- Simulated RTU, Simulated IED, Console
- ICCP, IEC, DNP3, Modbus, Data Modeling, XML/JSON
- Proficient in both Linux and Windows operating environments.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
- Experience in Power system applications including Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency analysis, Load Frequency Control(AGC), Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) with expertise in model validation event creation.
- Experience in programming languages for system integration or scripting, such as C, C++, PERL, or similar.
- SQL & Shell scripting, and ability to read and interpret logs and debug files.
- Must have experience in picking up and installing fixes on live customer systems.
