About the role
- Manage payroll processing for multiple countries
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, labor regulations, and legal requirements
- Oversee gathering, processing, and verification of payroll data
- Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes
- Generate and analyze payroll reports
- Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments
- Oversee relationships with third-party payroll vendors
- Support implementation and maintenance of global payroll systems
- Lead internal and external audits of payroll records
- Handle escalated payroll queries from employees.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in payroll
- 2+ years of global/international payroll experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of global payroll practices and regulations
- Expertise in payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, UKG/Immedis International Payroll system, Workday)
- Proficiency in Excel and payroll reporting tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
