Build and lead the engineering organisation behind Synagen's AI platform
Own engineering delivery from architecture through production
Turn product requirements into pragmatic technical designs and execution plans
Raise quality, reliability, security and engineering excellence
Stay hands-on through architecture, critical implementation and technical leadership
Take products from prototype to production while scaling engineering teams, processes and technical foundations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience building and leading engineering teams in a fast-moving product company
Track record of taking products from prototype to production
Experience scaling engineering teams, processes and technical foundations from early-stage through growth
Strong engineering judgment across modern Python-based backend systems, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems and AI-enabled products
Experience building and operating LLM or agentic systems in production, including evaluation, guardrails and failure handling
Proficiency using modern AI coding tools and reviewing and quality-controlling AI-generated code
Evidence of making fast, high-quality decisions under ambiguity, including deciding what not to build
Experience in healthcare, clinical workflows, FHIR, regulated or safety-critical software, or enterprise software deployments is advantageous but not required
Excellent written and spoken English
German is a plus, but not required
