About the role
- Ensure compliance with REMITII and other relevant regulations.
- Establish and maintain compliance monitoring tools and controls.
- Collaborate with risk and operations teams to design controls for new markets.
- Advise on compliance for entering new geographic markets.
- Work with legal teams to harmonize compliance frameworks.
- Verify trade reporting and assist in regulatory audits.
- Liaise with regulators and market operators during inquiries.
- Update and enforce policies and deliver training programs.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in compliance within the energy trading sectors.
- Strong understanding of BESS operations and market participation structures.
- Experience with trade surveillance tools and compliance monitoring systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent written & spoken English; additional European languages a plus.
