About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive the end-to-end design process for major software projects, from ideation to final implementation.
Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems, ensuring consistency, scalability, and reusability across products.
Create intuitive user interfaces, high-fidelity prototypes, and interactive experiences that enhance usability.
Conduct in-depth user research, usability testing, and data analysis to validate design decisions and uncover user needs.
Advocate for user-centered design principles, accessibility best practices, and business value alignment in all solutions.
Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to define product vision, design strategy, and project goals.
Contribute to defining best practices for AI-assisted product work, with a focus on quality, consistency, and thoughtful design decisions (product governance and agentic experience are where Symphony differentiates).
Mentor and coach junior and medior designers, providing guidance and constructive feedback to elevate team performance.
Align with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure seamless design-to-development handoffs.
Apply AI tools and emerging technologies as part of your day-to-day design workflow to improve efficiency and enhance product outcomes
Promote and actively engage in a culture of continuous improvement by identifying innovative approaches to design challenges.

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of demonstrated success in Product design with a strong portfolio.
Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Figma AI and Claude as part of your daily product design workflow for ideation, iteration, component variations, and UX copy.
Experience with design systems and component libraries.
Experience facilitating discussions and workshops with clients, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to drive strategy, vision, and execution.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate design processes, ideas, solutions, and the value of design to teams and clients.
Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills when it comes to design decisions.
Fluent in UX, visual, and modern interactive design best practices.
Independent in executing design (desktop and mobile), in consultation with product owners and technical leads.
Coming with strong knowledge about usability principles and techniques.
