About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Utilize e-Prescribing software and telemedicine software
Provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing medication management for individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders
Depending on experience and qualifications, may also provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services
Complete prescription refills, prior authorizations, and other required clinical documentation to ensure continuity of care
Ensure timely completion and closure of provider documentation within the Electronic Health Records within 24 hours of the encounter
Comply with all state requirements of a collaborative/supervisory agreement for Advanced Practice Nurse with Physician
Attend at least 50% of all monthly medical provider meetings
Maintain active state/federal prescribing privileges, and CME credits as required by relevant governing authority.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current Illinois licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) required
Candidates must hold a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification, a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Psychiatry, or possess a minimum of two years of experience providing psychiatric care
Active DEA registration
Patient-centered approach with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care
Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
