About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare operating rooms according to specialty requirements: opening and setup
Welcome and receive patients
Position patients for surgery in collaboration with the surgical and anesthesia teams
Monitor the progress of surgical procedures in collaboration with TSO, the surgical team and the anesthesia team
Ensure traceability and documentation of procedures and of instruments/materials used
Maintain and clean facilities and medical equipment
Apply hygiene and aseptic protocols

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous experience in an operating room is required
Versatility across various specialties: orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery
Strong sense of priorities and effective stress management
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently
Flexibility
ATSSO diploma is an asset
