About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and implement robust test plans, test cases, and test scripts for blockchain applications
Execute functional, integration, performance, security, and regression testing for blockchain environments
Test and integrate blockchain protocols and platforms, including Ethereum-compatible networks
Test smart contracts for correctness and security vulnerabilities
Collaborate with development teams to understand technical specifications
Perform load, performance and stress testing
Validate blockchain network behavior
Test integrations with wallets, APIs, backend services
Identify, document, and track software defects
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes
Stay up-to-date with emerging blockchain technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in software quality assurance or testing with focus on blockchain
Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including consensus mechanisms (PoW, PoS, BFT), smart contracts
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Go, Java, Solidity)
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Jest, Truffle, Hardhat)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
