About the role
- Counter sales and advising private and professional customers
- Management of store inventory
- Receiving, storing, picking and shipping goods
- Providing a professional welcome to customers and suppliers
- Listening to customers, understanding their needs and guiding them
- Providing appropriate technical advice
- Preparing and explaining parts quotations
- Managing invoices, purchase orders and delivery documents
- Updating customer files and equipment records
- Monitoring stock levels and participating in inventories
- Monitoring supplier and product listings
- Placing orders on the best possible financial terms
- Keeping the storage area clean and organized
- Restocking and maintaining promotional displays
- Conducting remote sales operations
Requirements
- Level 4 diploma (Baccalaureate) in commerce, sales or agricultural studies (or equivalent)
- At least 2 years' experience (including work-study placements) in similar roles or in transferable positions
- Knowledge of agricultural machinery
- Proficiency in IT and office software
- Counter sales and stock-handling techniques
