About the role

  • Develop and maintain backend systems using PHP and Laravel
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs
  • Integrate frontend components using Vue.js
  • Optimize database queries (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews and testing
  • Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams
  • Analyze and resolve bugs and performance issues
  • Document processes and architectures

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience as a backend developer
  • Strong knowledge of PHP and Laravel
  • Experience with Vue.js and modern frontend technologies
  • Proficient with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Knowledge of RESTful API development
  • Experience with agile development methods (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Advantageous: experience with Firebase
  • Good German and English skills
