About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform initial and ongoing evaluations
  • Develop a Plan of Treatment for each patient based on initial and ongoing evaluations
  • Document patient progress according to approved medical documentation and facility documentation procedures
  • Evaluate mobility, strength, and current level of patient function while setting goals to improve in these areas

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven record of matching patient needs to home treatment plans
  • Strong experience administering a wide range of occupational therapy techniques via telemedicine
  • Prior experience in oncology or palliative care
  • Experience assisting and directing treatments given by aides, technicians, and assistants
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience providing occupational therapy to patients and familiarity with telemedicine-based practice
  • Current licensure to practice as an OT; (state licensures will be reimbursed)
  • Understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, and patient confidentiality
