Key responsibilities & impact

Perform initial and ongoing evaluations
Develop a Plan of Treatment for each patient based on initial and ongoing evaluations
Document patient progress according to approved medical documentation and facility documentation procedures
Evaluate mobility, strength, and current level of patient function while setting goals to improve in these areas

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven record of matching patient needs to home treatment plans
Strong experience administering a wide range of occupational therapy techniques via telemedicine
Prior experience in oncology or palliative care
Experience assisting and directing treatments given by aides, technicians, and assistants
Minimum 5+ years of experience providing occupational therapy to patients and familiarity with telemedicine-based practice
Current licensure to practice as an OT; (state licensures will be reimbursed)
Understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, and patient confidentiality
