About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build the user's path through the platform, including chat, SDK, campaign management, and budget and spend tooling
- Own and improve time-to-first-result as a product metric
- Ensure new users can reach a real result without engineer assistance
- Build partner-facing product surfaces from a shared contract
- Own and ship the public website as a product surface
- Build a constrained design system and component library for humans and AI agents
- Collaborate across product surfaces using shared contracts
- Write contracts before logic and test against real systems instead of mocks
- Take ownership from specification through shipping and on-call
Requirements
What you’ll need- Five or more years building product
- Shipped a developer surface adopted by users, such as an SDK, API, or internal tool, with provable adoption
- Full-stack experience with React and TypeScript on the front end and Python on the back end
- API and SDK design expertise, including ergonomics, sensible defaults, backward-compatible evolution, and user-focused error messages
- Ability to work from user problems and remove usability barriers
- Ability to ship quickly with sound judgment and scope management
- Developer-tools or platform-product background preferred
- Experience measured on activation, retention, or time-to-first-result preferred
- Design-system experience preferred
- Experience building for scientific, technical, or data-heavy users preferred
- Comfort rendering and manipulating quantitative results preferred
- Experience making product surfaces legible to AI agents, including structured outputs, machine-readable errors, and composable components, preferred
- Technical breadth, systems thinking, scientific curiosity, and shipping velocity
- Work authorization question: whether the candidate now or ever will require sponsorship to work in the United States
