About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee a growing software portfolio
  • Lead end-to-end software acquisitions
  • Manage contract renewals and license optimization
  • Conduct software vendor negotiations and support negotiations
  • Evaluate IT vendors and contracts, including RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs
  • Research and recommend supplier selections
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, Finance, and InfoSec on cost-efficiency, compliance, and SaaS operations
  • Manage a portfolio spanning software, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, hardware, telecommunications, and managed services, with software licensing and renewals as the core

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3 years of IT software procurement experience
  • Experience must specifically involve software procurement; hardware-only or general non-IT procurement experience is insufficient
  • Experience with software procurement, SaaS, license management, renewals, and vendor negotiation
  • Experience with RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
  • ERP experience
  • Phoenix metro resident; city must appear on resume
  • U.S. citizen or green card holder
  • No visa sponsorship available
  • In-person interview within one week of closing
  • Ability to start within two weeks of offer
  • Successful HireRight background check and drug screening
  • Ability to complete 3–4 weeks of onsite training in Phoenix and then work remotely four days per week
