Network Administrator – Contract
Sunshine Enterprise USANetwork Administrator supporting enterprise network modernization initiatives at Sunshine Enterprise. Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network infrastructures with a focus on secure authentication and connectivity enhancements.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support enterprise network modernization initiatives, including SD-WAN, PKI, and identity-based networking services.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
- Support secure authentication services and certificate-based authentication solutions.
- Monitor and maintain enterprise network connectivity and performance.
- Configure and support switches, wireless access points, and related network hardware.
- Perform network deployments, upgrades, firmware updates, and security patching activities.
- Troubleshoot network, authentication, and connectivity issues across Windows and mobile platforms.
- Support mobile device connectivity and secure access services.
- Create and maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
- Participate in network testing, validation, and implementation activities.
- Work closely with security, server, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and secure operations.
- Manage and resolve network-related service tickets and support requests.
- Assist with physical network installations, equipment deployments, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Provide regular project updates, status reports, and technical documentation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in network administration
- 3+ years of experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting switches and wireless access points.
- 3+ years of experience supporting SD-WAN, PKI, and secure authentication services.
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues on Windows and mobile devices.
- 3+ years of experience creating, maintaining, and updating network documentation and diagrams.
- Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and customer service skills.
