About the role
- Lead end-to-end lifecycle of GIS and IT projects: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Align project goals with City priorities, compliance regulations, and departmental objectives
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors
- Manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies
- Prepare project charters, reports, and documentation for city leadership
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, updates, and progress reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of project management experience in IT or GIS domains
- Proven success managing cross-functional teams and vendor relationships
- PMP certification preferred
- Familiarity with municipal operations is a plus
