About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct developmental assessments
Provide physical therapy/occupational therapy/speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model
Follow each child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and work with the family to develop strategies
Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers' confidence and skills
Provide services in the child's natural environment, in families' homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings
Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Occupational Therapy license
Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred)
Home-based service delivery experience preferred
Strong clinical & interpersonal skills
Excellent written & oral communication skills
Bilingual in Spanish a plus!
