About the role
- Support the overall financial management as the central commercial/financial support to the Plant Manager.
- Responsible for transparency, control, and continuous development of the financial performance of the Dresden site.
- Identify structural optimization potential, initiate cost-reduction and efficiency programs, and evaluate their impact.
- Manage and validate capacities and manufacturing costs.
- Support the Plant Manager in planning and controlling plant utilization.
- Responsible for planning, forecasting, and reporting as management control instruments for site leadership.
Requirements
- Education: You hold a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Industrial Engineering — ideally with a focus on Controlling or Finance.
- Experience: You have several years of experience in production or plant controlling, preferably from mechanical or plant engineering or electrical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, product costing, and business analysis, and the ability to apply these tools to manage a production site.
- Familiarity with ERP systems — ideally SAP — and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is expected.
- Excellent Excel skills and routine handling of production-relevant KPIs.
