About the role
- Design and monitoring of the data landscape
- Design, implementation and operation of ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks
- Modeling and documentation of data flows
- Building and maintaining Grafana dashboards for monitoring
- Orchestration of workflows and automation of processes
- Performing data quality checks
- Collaboration with business units and IT
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, computer science, or relevant professional experience
- Advanced experience with Databricks, SQL, warehouses, jobs, streams, RBAC, and performance optimization
- Extensive knowledge in ETL/ELT engineering with dbt and orchestration
- Familiarity with Grafana for creating dashboards and alerting systems
- Strong skills in Python and SQL
- Systematic, quality-oriented working style and the ability to identify automation opportunities
- Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
- Experience in the operational support of MES systems and knowledge of complex bills of materials is a plus
