About the role

  • Prototype development for plant engineering
  • Advising and supporting Sunfire engineers on compliance topics
  • Quality assurance of internal plant documentation
  • Facilitating risk assessments in accordance with the Machinery and Pressure Equipment Directives
  • Acting as interface between project management and notified bodies

Requirements

  • Technical university degree, ideally with a focus on process engineering, piping and plant engineering
  • Basic knowledge of CE conformity assessment and common EU directives (Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU)
  • Several years of professional experience at a testing/certification body or in quality management within plant or piping construction
  • Experience facilitating risk assessments according to DIN EN ISO 12100
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Willingness to travel within Germany and the EU
  • Excellent German and English language skills
