About the role
- Strengthening mobile device security by conducting reconnaissance on emerging threats
- Testing exploits and jailbreaks
- Performing field audits together with the Risk team
- Standardizing testing procedures and creating model-level security risk reports
- Performing periodic reviews of phone models against the latest vendor patches and fixes
- Assisting in the creation and review of MDM policies
- Developing tampering and detection solutions for Android devices
- Recommending firmware or configuration upgrades for implementation by Programs and MDM teams
Requirements
- Possess deep understanding into Android mobile phones - Hardware, Firmware and OS level.
- Are an expert in phone security bypass testing not limited to flashing, Mobile device management- MDM bypass, Factory Reset Protection - FRP bypass, Original equipment manufacturer - OEM bypass, motherboard tampering etc.
- Have hands on experience with various testing tools like Chimera, Pandora, Infinity or any other similar.
- Have previous experience with Samsung, Nokia, Techno Pop, Itel, Infinix smartphones is preferred.
