Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Associate Manager, Operations will assist the Operations Team by performing a variety of processes to ensure consistent service delivery as per assigned KPIs.
This will include but not limited to Imports, Procurement, Inbound Logistics, Outbound Logistics, inventory management and Warehouse Operations.
They will be involved in the initial operations department set up in Madagascar.
Requirements
Hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Procurement & Logistics, or related field, with 4+ years’ relevant experience.
Possess strong knowledge of supply chain operations, including import/export, transport routes, warehousing, inventory, retail, and last-mile distribution.
Are value-motivated, passionate about serving rural off-grid consumers, and able to work alone with minimal supervision.
Have proven experience with ERP systems and proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
Are familiar with regional legislation and compliance requirements.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English, with strong people relations and teamwork abilities.
Are skilled in business planning, procurement, and problem-solving, with the ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities.
