About the role
- Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Associate Manager, Operations will assist the Operations Team by performing a variety of processes to ensure consistent service delivery as per assigned KPIs.
- This will include but not limited to Imports, Procurement, Inbound Logistics, Outbound Logistics, inventory management and Warehouse Operations.
- They will be involved in the initial operations department set up in Madagascar.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Procurement & Logistics, or related field, with 4+ years’ relevant experience.
- Possess strong knowledge of supply chain operations, including import/export, transport routes, warehousing, inventory, retail, and last-mile distribution.
- Are value-motivated, passionate about serving rural off-grid consumers, and able to work alone with minimal supervision.
- Have proven experience with ERP systems and proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
- Are familiar with regional legislation and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English, with strong people relations and teamwork abilities.
- Are skilled in business planning, procurement, and problem-solving, with the ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities.
