About the role
- Experience managing teams of creatives and graphic designers?
- Craft groundbreaking and captivating visual content for African audiences?
- Guide Sun King’s creative advertising campaigns across Africa.
- Produce the artwork for Sun King’s advertising campaigns across 10 countries, managing a team of talented designers.
- Manage the work of social media focused designers who produce content for Sun King’s fast-growing and dynamic social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Oversee diverse design, advertising, and social media landscapes, managing our advertising and social media campaigns in various countries.
- Take briefs from internal clients, discussing appropriate options for design and advising internal clients on the best use of graphics for digital platforms whilst adhering to brand guidelines.
- Work with sales, marketing, products, operations, and other teams to ensure that content is rigorously reviewed and feedback are replied to.
Requirements
- Degree/Higher National Diploma or Advanced Degree in Graphic Design is highly preferable.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in creative within Content or Advertising agencies.
- Proven track record of spearheading impactful creative campaigns across diverse channels.
- Skilled in the complete Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and experience in After Effects and XD will be an advantage.
- Proficient in managing creative teams across global offices.
- Deep knowledge of above-the-line and below-the-line campaign strategy and a proven ability to get projects over the line.
- Deep knowledge of what works on social media and a proven ability to harness internet, social media, and digital trends and graphics concepts.
- An eye for design and an ability to lay out artwork at speed to a high standard.
- Deep knowledge of how to use design to communicate with consumers and sell products.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
