About the role

  • - Monthly closure of books of account: Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • - Taxation, compliance monitoring and audits: Manage all direct and indirect tax compliances, statutory filings, assessments, and audits.
  • - Legal and Secretarial Compliance: Assist in review and execution of company agreements and contractual documentation.
  • - Account Payable Management and Banking relations: Oversee accounts payable operations, including invoice booking, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements.
  • - Other aspects: Ensure effective coordination with Operations and Sales teams on business and finance-related matters.

Requirements

  • - A Chartered Accountant qualification
  • - 2+ years of relevant work experience in controllership, auditing, accounting or taxation
  • - A clear thinking / problem solving ability, able to oversee projects/process improvement initiatives within the organization
  • - Fluent in written and verbal English communication
  • - Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
