Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, assist the Operations Team to ensure consistent service delivery per assigned KPIs across Imports, Procurement, Inbound/Outbound Logistics, inventory management and Warehouse Operations.
Participate in the initial operations department set up in Madagascar.
Operations Management: data evaluation (Vlookup, Pivot tables, advanced Excel), inventory reporting, planning and forecasting, design sustainable operational processes, undertake ERP & CRM transactions for operations activities.
Warehouse and Inventory Management: setting up a warehouse, oversee management of warehouse and retail points, monitor inventory needs with sales team and escalate as needed.
Inbound & Outbound Logistics: onboard and manage 3PLs, clearing agents, security firms and transportation companies; oversee import/export into Madagascar; manage 3PL relationships and system transactions for logistics.
Requirements
Hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Procurement & Logistics, or related field, with 4+ years’ relevant experience.
Possess strong knowledge of supply chain operations, including import/export, transport routes, warehousing, inventory, retail, and last-mile distribution.
Are value-motivated, passionate about serving rural off-grid consumers, and able to work alone with minimal supervision.
Have proven experience with ERP systems and proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
Are familiar with regional legislation and compliance requirements.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English, with strong people relations and teamwork abilities.
Are skilled in business planning, procurement, and problem-solving, with the ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities.
