About the role

  • Assist the Operations Team under the supervision of the Operations Manager to ensure consistent service delivery per assigned KPIs
  • Support imports, procurement, inbound and outbound logistics, inventory management and warehouse operations
  • Perform data evaluation and reporting using VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and advanced Excel formulas
  • Inventory reporting, planning and forecasting
  • Design and improve operational processes and sustainable solutions
  • Undertake system (ERP & CRM) transactions for all operations activities
  • Set up and oversee warehouse and retail point operations, ensuring inventory best practices
  • Monitor inventory needs and coordinate with sales, escalating as needed to meet business timelines
  • Execute end-to-end procurement processes, maintain approved vendors database, and manage supplier relationships
  • Perform cash flow forecasting
  • Onboard and manage 3PLs, clearing agents, security firms and transport companies
  • Oversee importation and exportation of products into Madagascar in liaison with clearing agents
  • Manage 3PL relationships and related system transactions
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Procurement & Logistics, or related field
  • 4+ years’ relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, including import/export, transport routes, warehousing, inventory, retail, and last-mile distribution
  • Proven experience with ERP systems and proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite
  • Familiarity with regional legislation and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Strong people relations and teamwork abilities
  • Skilled in business planning, procurement, and problem-solving
  • Ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities
  • Value-motivated and able to work alone with minimal supervision, passionate about serving rural off-grid consumers
