About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide psychiatric medication management to adolescent clients through telehealth
  • Conduct psychiatric assessments and medication evaluations
  • Provide follow-ups and ongoing medication management
  • Prescribe and manage controlled substances, including Schedule II medications, in compliance with South Carolina and federal requirements
  • Work within South Carolina RBHS requirements
  • Provide accessible mental health services to children, adolescents, and families throughout South Carolina

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active, unrestricted South Carolina APRN/NP or MD/DO license
  • Psychiatric/mental health prescribing experience with adolescents
  • Experience prescribing and managing controlled substances, including Schedule II medications
  • DEA registration and appropriate prescriptive authority
  • Comfortable providing psychiatric assessments, medication evaluations, follow-ups, and ongoing medication management
  • Medicaid/RBHS experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable working within South Carolina RBHS requirements
  • Minimum 20 hours of availability per week, scheduled throughout the week
  • 1099 independent contractor
