Key responsibilities & impact

Supporting the management of a portfolio of audit clients
Leading audits in the field, from planning through to completion under Manager/Partner supervision
Identifying audit risks and contributing to effective audit strategies
Ensuring audit work is completed in line with professional standards and firm methodology
Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing constructive feedback
Coaching and supporting trainees and seniors in their development
Building strong working relationships with clients and acting as a key day-to-day contact
Assisting with the financial management of audit engagements
Supporting business development and firm-wide initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified or newly qualified
Proven experience in corporate audit, including managing audit engagements
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-lasting client relationships
Confident communicator with the ability to build effective client relationships
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
An interest in developing leadership and people-management skills
Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
A collaborative approach and a genuine desire to progress
