About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supporting the management of a portfolio of audit clients
- Leading audits in the field, from planning through to completion under Manager/Partner supervision
- Identifying audit risks and contributing to effective audit strategies
- Ensuring audit work is completed in line with professional standards and firm methodology
- Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing constructive feedback
- Coaching and supporting trainees and seniors in their development
- Building strong working relationships with clients and acting as a key day-to-day contact
- Assisting with the financial management of audit engagements
- Supporting business development and firm-wide initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified or newly qualified
- Proven experience in corporate audit, including managing audit engagements
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-lasting client relationships
- Confident communicator with the ability to build effective client relationships
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- An interest in developing leadership and people-management skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- A collaborative approach and a genuine desire to progress
