About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Managing a portfolio of growing businesses, involving reviewing various assignments and giving advice to clients where required.
Management of individual clients to ensure the various deadlines are achieved in a timely manner
Attending client meetings when required in person and via video link
Assisting the Client Service Director with raising fee notes and management of work-in-progress
Support Client Service Director and Partner in one-off project-based assignments
Motivate, train, and develop Trainees, Seniors and other colleagues as appropriate including some line management responsibilities
Potential to attend networking events and new client meetings with one of our Fee Earners.

Requirements

What you’ll need

ACCA or ACA qualified with at least 2 years post qualification experience gained in an accountancy practice
A knowledge of various software packages including cloud-based packages
Ambitious and passionate about what you do, with strong communication and team working skills
Experience in developing other members of your team
Organised, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
Line management experience would be desirable
