About the role
- Lead a finance team of approximately 50 covering multiple functions across the group.
- Drive transformation within the finance function, including processes and technology.
- Oversee capabilities including management account reporting, credit control, accounts payable and payroll.
- Ensure strong financial controls, attention to detail, and compliance across all areas.
- Lead on flash reporting, capital expenditure and exceptionals.
- Take accountability for the accuracy and timeliness of business unit financial reporting.
- Partner with leadership to deliver financial insight that supports decision making.
- Oversight of business unit budgeting and re-forecasting processes.
- Report directly to the Group CFO and shape the future of finance operations across hubs.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with demonstrable post-qualification experience.
- Proven track record of leading large finance teams.
- Strong technical finance skills combined a knowledge of best in class financial processes.
- Professional services experience preferable.
- Commercially astute, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Experience implementing finance systems and technology.
