About the role
- Help drive and develop an established payroll bureau.
- Provide subject matter expertise across payroll, both internally and externally for our clients.
- Lead the team in ensuring the delivery of a first-class service to clients.
- Have prior experience of implementing new systems and payroll software.
- Support and nurture other team members to aid their development.
- Build and maintain relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Leverage expertise across all aspects of payroll processing, from data input to report generation.
- Identify opportunities to optimize and modernize payroll processes through innovative ideas.
Requirements
- UK payroll experience
- Passionate about the details and competent in all aspects of payroll processing.
- Strong leadership skills to guide and support team members.
- Excellent relationship-building skills to maintain client relationships.
- Forward-thinking and problem-solving abilities to enhance payroll processes and client experience.
- Extensive experience in Payroll Bureau, Outsourced Payroll or In-House Payroll.
- Experience implementing new systems and payroll software.
- Ability to put systems and processes in place and streamline the department.
