About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of transit construction work with a focus on electrical, signal, and traction power systems
- Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and maintaining alignment with project schedule, budget, and quality standards
- Act as a key liaison between the project team, subcontractors, designers, and the owner
Requirements
What you’ll need- Railroad construction experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, signaling systems, control circuits, and related field installations
- Understanding safety guidelines
- Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Analytical and strong problem-solving ability
- The ability to communicate in a professional manner with owner’s representatives, coworkers and direct supervisors
- Ability to complete work under time pressure and to maintain composure under the stress of emergency situations
- Must be able to work well with others
