About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain 2D and 3D electrical models, drawings and layouts for power distribution, branch circuits, conduits, cable trays and electrical equipment.
  • Produce plans, one line diagrams, schematics, panel schedules, conduit routing, grounding layouts and installation details.
  • Maintain accurate electrical models in Revit, ensuring updates align with engineering direction and project standards.
  • Coordinate electrical layouts with mechanical, plumbing, structural and architectural teams to support a clash free, well integrated design.
  • Incorporate engineering markups, redlines and design changes throughout concept development, design progression and construction.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of electrical CAD standards, templates, drafting libraries and documentation workflows.
  • Participate in model reviews and coordination sessions with cross functional teams.
  • Assist with as built updates based on field feedback, vendor information and commissioning input.
  • Maintain organized file structures, version control and consistent drawing practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree or technical certification in CAD, drafting, electrical design or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience as an electrical CAD or Revit designer in MEP and Data center projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; experience with Navisworks or other coordination tools is preferred.
  • Understanding of electrical systems including medium- and low-voltage distribution, emergency power systems, grounding, and lighting.
  • Ability to interpret one-lines, wiring diagrams, specifications and engineering sketches.
  • Familiarity with NEC, NFPA and general electrical design practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, accurate and well-organized drawings.
  • Good communication skills and comfort working with engineers, designers and other disciplines.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects while managing deliverables and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a highly coordinated 3D environment with multiple trades.
  • Strong sense of ownership, documentation consistency and quality.
  • Openness to learning new tools, workflows and electrical design practices as the team scales.
  • Interest in modular electrical systems, prefabrication and emerging technologies.
