About the role

  • Develop detailed electrical schematics ensuring safety, energy efficiency, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the full product lifecycle (NPI - New Product Introduction, quality assurance), from conceptualization to industrialization.
  • Program and implement control logic using PLC environments for prototyping and custom series.
  • Develop embedded software for process control.
  • Manage and optimize the Bill of Materials to ensure the electrical design is viable for high-volume manufacturing.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and maintenance procedures.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in automated systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in product development, automation design, programming, and implementation (e.g. experience over consumer electronics, building automation, automotive industry, IOT devices, illumination, HVAC or measure devices).
  • Experience in PLC languages and knowledge of C for embedded systems.
  • Proficiency in electrical CAD software (EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical).
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA, CAN, SPI, I2C, etc).
  • Familiarity with mass-market product regulations (CE marking, UL certifications, etc).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between industrial automation and consumer electronics.
  • Professional fluency in English.
