About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead program-level communications and stakeholder engagement strategies for major infrastructure programs
Serve as a trusted advisor to agency leadership on messaging, stakeholder alignment, construction communications, and engagement approaches
Develop engagement strategies and messaging frameworks that align across multiple projects, phases, and stakeholders
Translate complex technical information into communications that build understanding and trust
Strengthen coordination across technical teams, communications staff, and client stakeholders to support aligned delivery
Manage scope, schedule, and performance across multiple concurrent efforts
Lead and support business development efforts, including pursuits and proposals

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Planning, Business, or related field
15+ years of experience supporting major infrastructure programs
Transportation program client experience at the federal, municipal and/or state level
Demonstrated leadership delivering complex communications and stakeholder engagement programs
Ability to operate at both the strategic and execution level
Strong writing, editing, and strategic planning skills
Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) is preferred
