About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build strong working relationships with clients, project managers, and technical teams to support successful project delivery.
- Lead the development of plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and final bid packages for state highway and interchange improvement projects.
- Design and coordinate key project elements including horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage, construction staging and traffic control, signing and pavement marking, utility coordination, subconsultant collaboration, and right-of-way plans.
- Contribute to key project decisions related to technical approach, schedule, and budget while helping teams deliver quality results.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and helping STV pursue exciting transportation opportunities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- 15 years of engineering experience with strong technical expertise in transportation and highway design.
- Experience designing highways, local roads, drainage systems, and related transportation infrastructure and site work.
- Oklahoma PE license or ability to acquire it.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
- Proficiency with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
