About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a frontline partner to the business
- Assist with HR programs and initiatives: talent acquisition, employment processing, compensation, records management, employee relations, compliance, etc.
- Participate in the formulation of HR solutions by collecting and analyzing information, recommending courses of action
- Complete special projects by carrying out project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions
- Manage client expectations by communicating project status and issues, resolving concerns
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
- Protect employee and Company data
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by staying abreast of existing and new legislation
- Enhance department services by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Continue to develop job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 4+ years of relevant experience – possible roles include HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, HR Representative, HR Specialist, etc.
- Demonstrated skills to include: Detail-oriented and responsive, ensuring closed-loop communication
- Problem-solving abilities with a process improvement mindset
- Inquisitive and resourceful
- A focus on client service
- Time management and prioritization
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Forms)
- Experience in the following is highly desired: Workday or Dayforce HCM
- AEC industry
