About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead development and coordination of 3D utility models in OpenRoads, including complex vertical geometry, utility crossings, and conflict resolution with roadway and drainage elements
  • Collaborate with technical and design teams to develop, implement, and maintain company-wide BIM standards, procedures, and protocols
  • Interface directly with clients and STV engineers to define CAD deliverables, ensuring projects are executed as per agreed-upon CAD protocols
  • Establish and maintain model-driven plan and profile sheets using OpenRoads drawing and sheet models, ensuring consistency throughout design revisions
  • Mentor and provide technical oversight to junior designers and EITs in ORD workflows and standards
  • Troubleshoot complex OpenRoads modeling and sheet production issues, providing solutions that balance software capability, standards compliance, and project schedules

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of AEC industry experience with a strong focus on Microstation/ORD utility relocation design
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to participate in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to solve problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously under aggressive timelines
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Preferred but not Required: Professional Bentley ORD certifications
  • Understanding of construction scheduling and estimating
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Revit
