About the role

  • Oversee the successful delivery of Rail projects, working closely with project teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
  • Plans the complete project execution and develops the project management plan.
  • Schedules and monitors manpower requirements against the project budget/spending performance.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with projects and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential Rail clients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including engineering teams, business development, and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies for business growth.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes within the Rail sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, or structural engineering, or a related field.
  • NJ Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • 15+ years of experience in Rail project management and business development, with a proven track record of driving business growth and delivering successful Rail projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Rail engineering principles, standards, and practices.
  • Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new Rail business opportunities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Experience in proposal development, bid management, and contract negotiation.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, project assignments, and industry events.
  • PMP Certification highly encouraged.
