About the role

  • Oversee planning, development, and implementation of courthouse and justice projects across California
  • Manage program budgets, funding allocations, schedules, and cash flow forecasting for bond sales
  • Drive adoption of digital tools and processes for program management and reporting
  • Represent the client in public meetings and present executive reports to boards, committees, and community organizations
  • Formulate policies for construction programs, funding strategies, and ensure compliance with state and county guidelines
  • Resolve cost overruns through value engineering and negotiate scope changes
  • Oversee financial closeout and provide documentation for projects under litigation
  • Implement lessons learned and develop training for program teams

Requirements

  • 15+ years in program/project management (scope, design, budget, schedule, closeout)
  • 6+ years managing programs in public or educational agencies
  • Priority: Experience with Courthouse / Justice projects
  • Preferred: Corrections facility experience
  • Large program/project experience ($500M–$1 Billion+)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (or equivalent experience)
