Senior Project Manager – Product Development

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for developing new products and advancing existing products.
- Manage internal stakeholders, external service providers, and manufacturing partners.
- Create and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets, and maintain related reports.
- Ensure product functionality as well as design and quality standards.
- Communicate project status updates and results so all parties stay informed.
- Question and optimize product development processes together with the team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in business administration, engineering (mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or similar), or an equivalent qualification.
- Several years of experience in product development for consumer goods, ideally cookware or household appliances.
- Strong sensitivity to product design, quality standards, and manufacturing details.
- Experience managing external manufacturing/service providers.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and various product materials.
- Further training and certifications, e.g., IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2, Six Sigma, are an advantage.
- Proactive communicator, detail-oriented, and committed to sustainable implementation on the supplier side.
- Approach difficult conversations confidently and solution-focused.
- Familiar with relevant software tools (e.g., Google Workspace, project management tools).
- Fluent German (written and spoken) and conversational English.
- Enjoy cooking, high-quality cookware, and design-oriented consumer products.
