About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Understand, continue developing, and scale the existing app architecture
Provide technical leadership for the project (architecture, quality, decision-making)
Develop new features and manage the product roadmap
Establish sustainable deployment, infrastructure, and hosting processes
Coordinate external developers / later build and lead an in-house tech team
Ensure the product's long-term technical viability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficient in NestJS (backend architecture, API design)
Proficient in Docker (containerization & deployments)
Proficient in Flutter (mobile & web)
Experience with App Store and Play Store releases
Experience with hosting configurations for web and backend
Strong in cloud architecture / Backend-as-a-Service
Confident with version control, CI/CD, and database design
German at C2 level required
Nice-to-have: interest in EdTech, UX/product sensibility, analytics experience, gamification, experience building small tech teams
