About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- On-site supervision of field crews
- Accurately estimating labor requirements
- Developing crew schedules and ensuring work completion according to plans
- Completing daily field reports, purchase orders, delivery tickets, and speed memos
- Ensuring crews operate tools and equipment safely and productively
- Assisting Project Managers in evaluating production rates
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in general construction
- At least 2+ years in a Leadman role
- Proven ability to supervise up to 10 technicians with minimal subcontract oversight
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and execute construction drawings and contract specifications
- Established commitment to safety
- Proven experience to produce look-ahead schedules
- Basic computer skills and construction math skill
- Bi-lingual in Spanish / English may be given preference
