About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the numbers for the entire commercial engine
  • Build and maintain a single source of truth across marketing, sales and customer success
  • Ensure visibility across marketing pipeline, sales pipeline, churn, renewals and capacity planning
  • Set and enforce consistent commercial definitions and rules across functions
  • Own HubSpot end-to-end, including permissions, usage, workflows, automations and data-cleaning processes
  • Produce reliable forecasts, headcount plans and leadership reporting
  • Support the design of commission plans and commercial structures
  • Support hiring and onboarding a Sales Operations person and train them to maintain the systems
  • Present clean, consistent and defensible numbers to the board
  • Use AI to solve problems and reduce manual work
  • Connect revenue operations with product, finance and marketing
  • Challenge senior leaders when reported numbers do not match the narrative

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrable ownership of reporting across the full commercial funnel, including marketing, sales, customer success, churn and renewals
  • Experience owning forecasts and shaping commission plans
  • Experience building workflows yourself
  • Expert or power-user proficiency with HubSpot
  • Ability to configure HubSpot permissions, automations and processes
  • Senior-level experience in multi-product SaaS
  • Understanding of how product lines affect pipeline, ARR and churn
  • Concrete evidence of AI embedded in work processes; regular use of AI tools such as Claude
  • Ability to challenge senior leaders diplomatically and firmly
  • Comfortable working autonomously as a self-starter
  • Experience building new commercial operations systems rather than inheriting legacy systems
  • Experience in revenue operations, commercial operations or a similar role
  • Experience configuring HubSpot, building forecasts and leading cross-functional alignment
  • Multi-product SaaS experience is non-negotiable
  • B2B exposure strongly preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce or Pipedrive is a plus
  • Ability to present clearly to senior audiences and explain complex commercial logic in plain language
  • Operational approach to diagnosing process and data-quality problems and prioritising by commercial impact
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK and able to perform the specified work
